From the age of six, I fell in love with cinema. Whether I was bored, happy, or celebrating a special moment, films were my escape—and my joy. Watching movies wasn't just entertainment; it became an emotion. I would rewatch films multiple times, sometimes analyzing them like a critic, other times simply soaking in their beauty. Gradually, I began to dream—not just of watching films, but of creating my own cinematic universe.
My fascination with storytelling and direction began early in life. I wrote and performed several stage plays during my school days. My mother, who was also a teacher at my school, was my first mentor. She recognized my potential, trained me, and encouraged me to participate in dramas. Her support helped me grow as a performer and a writer. By the age of 12, I had written seven stories and several dialogues and scripts. However, I didn’t know how to present them to the world. Over time, some of those stories were made into films by others, leaving me with mixed emotions—disappointed that I wasn’t their creator, yet proud that I had the vision.
My parents have always been my inspiration. My mother is a hardworking woman and the backbone of our family. My father is a loving soul who would go to any extent to fulfill our needs. Their sacrifices and determination shaped me into an ambitious person. Though they enjoyed watching films, they were hesitant when I expressed my desire to become a filmmaker. They encouraged me to focus on education instead.
I was an average student academically, but my mind constantly wandered toward stories and characters. In college, I spent much of my time around the film department, working on short films and capturing nature through my lens. My passion for direction only grew stronger. When I completed my graduation, I told my parents that I still wanted to pursue filmmaking. They agreed—but only on the condition that I complete my master’s degree.
I put my dream on hold and studied hard for entrance exams. I cleared them and earned a seat in NIT Warangal, where I completed my M.Tech in Engineering Physics. Even there, I couldn’t help but observe people and their lives, drawing inspiration for stories. Though I remained an average student, I would dive deep into books and research whenever an idea struck. I often shared my ideas with friends, and their reactions gave me confidence.
Eventually, I made a firm decision—I wanted to become an Indian film director. But the path wasn't easy. With no industry connections and limited support, I decided to create short films. I saved money, arranged funds, and completed the shooting and songs for my first independent film. Unfortunately, due to lack of experience and guidance, a few crucial shots were lost. I was heartbroken. I felt like I had failed. To support my family, I took up a job and put my dreams on hold.
For a while, I disconnected—from people, from my stories, from myself. I tried to distract my mind with courses in SAP, Data Science, and Risk Management, hoping they’d lead me somewhere. But every time I failed in those paths, I felt nothing. Yet every time I failed in my passion, I felt the urge to try again. That realization changed everything.
Encouraged by a friend, I wrote and published my first novel, "Pramukhudu", on Pratilipi. The response was overwhelming. It reignited my spirit. Soon after, I released my second series, "Life is Not a Joke Boss, But!", which also received great appreciation. I eventually resigned from my job and committed myself fully to writing. I built a small team focused on technical work and content creation.
After leaving my job, I traveled to Kaashi—against my parents' wishes. That trip changed my life. It was in Kaashi that I began shaping the idea for my third and most ambitious work, "The Kaashi – An Immortal Land in the Universe". I dove deep into research, working with psychologists, spiritual mentors, and my creative team. We spent months developing the background of every character, refining the narrative, and preparing for the next big step.
With the support of investors and my dedicated team, we brought the book to life and launched it on a professional platform. It marked the beginning of a new chapter—not just as a writer, but as a creator shaping my own path in the world of storytelling.
I am deeply passionate about cinema, and now, I've made it my profession. My dream is to become a film director—an Indian filmmaker with a unique voice and vision. I believe that day is not far off.
